The Sarkhej Roza situated 8 km from the city has some of the most elegant architectural complexes seen in Ahmedabad. The buildings are unique because there are no arches but use pierced stone trellises all through.

The Akshardham is a majestic temple carved intricately and set amid a sprawling garden. Built with 6000 tons of sand stone, there is absolutely no use of steel in this structure. There is a hall of harmony in the temple which projects religions of the world side by side. The temple delivers a strong message of universal peace and brotherhood.

Located off the Gandhinagar highway is the Science City which is an ambitious initiative of the Government of Gujarat. The 3D Imax theater, musical dancing fountain, energy parks and stimulation rides is what attracts visitors attention. There are other places that the tourists to Ahmedabad throng to such as the CEPT Campus, the Indroda Nature Park and the Hussain’s Doshi Gufa.
